Vehicle brand names, model names, logos, references, and descriptions are used only to indicate product compatibility.

Product Purpose

ShieldTech start-stop eliminator modules are designed to help keep the automatic start-stop system off by default on selected supported vehicles.

Product function may vary depending on the vehicle model, year, trim, electronic system, and compatibility.

Vehicle manufacturers may change switches, wiring, trim layouts, or electronic systems between model years, trims, or production batches. Because of this, compatibility may vary even between vehicles that appear similar.

Installation Disclaimer

ShieldTech products are designed to be plug-and-play for supported vehicles. However, installation may still require accessing trim panels, switches, or wiring connectors.

ShieldTech is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, forced removal of panels, incorrect fitment, misuse, tampering, or third-party installation errors.

Limited Product Warranty

ShieldTech offers a 6-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery.

This warranty applies only to faults caused by a manufacturing defect under normal use.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover damage or faults caused by:

incorrect installation;
installation on an incompatible vehicle;
misuse, abuse, or negligence;
physical damage;
water or moisture damage;
tampering, modification, or attempted repair;
vehicle electrical faults;
incorrect fitment;
damage caused by removing or refitting vehicle panels;
use outside the product’s intended purpose.

Vehicle Warranty Disclaimer

ShieldTech products are aftermarket accessories.

Use of aftermarket electronics may affect manufacturer warranty coverage for related systems. If your vehicle is still under manufacturer warranty, maintenance plan, service plan, or motor plan, we recommend confirming with your dealer or manufacturer before installation.

ShieldTech is not responsible for any manufacturer warranty decisions, dealer claims, or warranty disputes.

Limitation of Liability

ShieldTech is not responsible for damage, loss, or costs caused by incorrect installation, incorrect vehicle compatibility, misuse, vehicle electrical faults, tampering, modifications, or third-party installation errors.

Nothing in this Legal Notice is intended to limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
